Current status: (~updated 2024-08-22)
- Updated this “Now” page and began a new page called “Interests.” Put a link for it in the header. Podcast listing is updated and moved from a blog post to a place where I can update it. There is also a link to websites I enjoy. Later maybe some other interests will be added if I find any lurking around here.

Ups and Downs:
- Writing: 10 minutes each day developing a habit. Success rate about 50%
- Weight: I lost 2 of the 13 more pounds I’m shooting for. That makes about 20 pounds over the past 2 years and I’m liking the slow, steady progress with small changes in eating habits. No rush.
- Exercise: I’ve been trying to add 2 small 5-minute exercise routines into my day. I’ve been about 40% successful on this, but still getting at least 1 session in each day. I want to do 3 of these in addition to my walk each day.
- Very happy with my morning routine with meditation, walking, and reading as well as checking social media
What I want to do:
- Digital art for my personal expression not likely to share - I got a Wacom tablet years ago and have hardly used it.
- Learn more BASH scripting and maybe read a book I have on Perl. Looking for more ability do little jobs with data and also just to have the fun of learning and and writing code.
